Product Description
The gas-sensitive material used in the MQ-2 gas sensor is tin dioxide (SnO2), which has low conductivity in clean air. When combustible gas is present in the environment in which the sensor is located, the conductivity of the sensor increases with the increase in the concentration of flammable gas in the air. A simple circuit can be used to convert the change in conductivity into an output signal corresponding to the concentration of the gas.
The MQ-2 gas sensor is highly sensitive to propane, smoke and is ideal for natural gas and other combustible vapors. This sensor can detect a wide range of flammable gases, making it a low-cost sensor for a wide range of applications.
Features
This product has good sensitivity to propane, smoke, etc. in a wide concentration range, and has the advantages of long life, low cost, and simple driving circuit.
- Designed with a high-quality double-sided PCB with power indication and TTL signal output indicator LED
- It has DO switch signal output(TTL) and analog signal output
- The TTL output effective signal is low level, when the output low level signal light, you can directly connect to the MCU or relay module.
- The higher the concentration, the higher the analog output voltage
- Good sensitivity to methane and natural gas
- There are mounting holes for easy installation
Typical applications
- Domestic gas leakage alarm
- Industrial flammable gas alarm
- Portable gas detector
